Morning Yoga with Sun Salutations and Hip Openers – 18 Minute Yoga Video

Yogaskip presents an 18 Minute Yoga Flow that includes sun salutations, hip openers and a balancing posture. Feel more energized, increase your blood circulation, feel more alert and ready for the day after practicing this Vinyasa Flow. Other benefits from this yoga flow include flexibility, emotional stability and feeling more alert. Some of the postures we practice in this yoga flow include ½ Sun Salutations Sun Salutation A -2 Sun Salutation B-1 Extended Triangle each side – Utthita Trikonasana Wide legged forward bend variation- Prasarita Padottanasana Lizard Posture – each side. Pivot the feet and lift hips, then extending knee down to repeat posture on end of the yoga mat. Next we work your way back up to wide legged forward bend, taking a fresh inhale, leading with the chest and reaching for our hips on the exhale as we come to an upright standing position. We finish off with a extended tree balancing posture – utthita vrikshasana, repeat posture on other leg. Last we take two centered breaths and say goodbye feeling calm and energized.
